Sustainability Practices

Our guiding principles at Dr. Bronner's are to make humble and mindful use of the Earth's gifts, ensuring that what comes from the Earth goes back. We work closely with farmers to implement regenerative organic practices, and our coconut, palm, and mint oil farms in Sri Lanka, Ghana, and India have sequestered approximately 16,000 MT of CO2, helping to mitigate climate change. Our factory is powered by renewable energy, and our products are completely non-toxic, preservative-free, and detergent-free. Additionally, all our cylinder soap bottles are made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic.

Our Pure-Castile Liquid Soaps are made with over 70% organic ingredients, including organic and fair trade palm kernel oil grown by smallholder farmers in Ecuador. These soaps are free from synthetic preservatives, detergents, and foaming agents, making them gentle on the environment and your skin. They are also three times more concentrated than most liquid soaps, allowing for multiple uses and less waste in packaging.
